About Us

Foley Family Contact Centre provides a specialist supervised child contact service designed to support safe and meaningful connections between children and their families during times of separation, court involvement, or elevated risk concerns. We recognise that children thrive when they feel secure, respected, and heard — and we are committed to upholding their rights, dignity, and emotional wellbeing at all times.

We set the bar for best practice in Australia for children’s supervised contact. The safety and wellbeing of the children entrusted to our care is paramount.

Our Mission is to provide a safe, child-focused environment where children can maintain meaningful relationships with both parents following separation, in accordance with Family Court Orders or Agreements.

About our Director

Rebecca Foley is the Director of Foley Family Mediation and Foley Family Contact Centre and brings extensive experience in family dispute resolution, child safety, and court-involved family services.

Rebecca is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with a strong professional background in child protection and family services. She began her career in Child Protection, where she gained significant experience working with children and families involved in the child protection system. During this time, Rebecca was responsible for supervising contact between children and their parents and extended family members, often in complex, high-risk, and high-conflict circumstances.

This frontline experience has shaped Rebecca’s child-focused, safety-first approach to service delivery. She has a deep understanding of the practical realities faced by families navigating separation, court processes, and statutory involvement, as well as the importance of structured, well-managed contact arrangements that prioritise children’s wellbeing.

Rebecca’s work is grounded in trauma-informed practice, neutrality, and a strong commitment to professionalism and ethical standards. She is known for her calm, considered approach and her ability to support families to move forward in a way that reduces conflict while maintaining a clear focus on children’s needs and safety.

Under Rebecca’s leadership, Foley Family Mediation and Foley Family Contact Centre are committed to providing high-quality, child-centred services that support families, courts, and referrers with integrity and care.

1

Supervised Visitation

Supervised contact provides children with the opportunity to spend time with a parent or family member in a safe, structured environment where supervision is required due to court orders, safety concerns or family circumstances. Sessions are conducted by fully qualified staff experienced in working with complex family dynamics. They observe interactions, support children's emotional wellbeing and intervene if safety concerns arise, whilst allowing for contact to occur as naturally as possible.

2

Supervised Changeovers

Supervised Changeovers provide a safe, structured, and low-conflict way for children to transition between parents when direct handovers are not appropriate. Changeovers are managed by qualified staff within our fully secure, purpose-designed centre, ensuring parents do not have contact with one another and that children experience calm, supported transitions. Our processes prioritise safety, punctuality, and the emotional wellbeing of the child, with clear protocols, secure waiting areas, and detailed records maintained in accordance with court orders and referral requirements.

Pick-up/Drop-off Service

Foley Family Contact Centre offers a pick-up and drop-off service within a 15-kilometre radius of the Centre for families who require additional support with safe and reliable transitions or are unable to transport the children during the day. This service is provided by qualified staff and is designed to minimise conflict, address safety concerns, and support children to move calmly between locations and reduce the burden on the resident parent to comply with court ordered visitation. Pick-ups and drop-offs are conducted in accordance with court orders and individual service agreements, with clear documentation and communication maintained throughout. An additional fee applies to this service.

Service Fees
*All fees are payable prior to the visitation and unless otherwise specified by a court order or parenting agreement, all fees and charges will be shared equally between parents. *
